Join us to celebrate the launch of Medea Redux by Ali Graham.

Ali is a writer living and working in Glasgow. They have pamphlets out with Pyramid Editions, Distance No Object Press, SPAM Press, and Earthbound Press, and a collection out with Veer2. Their work has been published by, or is forthcoming, from Datableed, Cambridge Literary Review, The 87 Press, and Shuddhashar. They can be found on Instagram, and they like ecotones, folklore, textiles and childcare.

Gloria Dawson is a writer, teacher, researcher and organizer living in Glasgow, Scotland. She teaches creative writing to adults who have been excluded and overlooked in conventional education pathways, and carries out participatory and grassroots research on local democracy issues, centring on accountability and information rights. Recent poetry includes hurricane/orison (And False Fire Press, 2022) circlusion (Zarf Editions, 2018). Anthology publications include The Thieves (CCA Publications, 2024), The Weird Folds: Everyday Poems from the Anthropocene (Dostoevsky Wannabe, 2020), Writing Utopia (Hesterglock Press 2020). How To Win (General Equivalent, 2020). Journals include Gutter, Poetry Review, Poetry Wales, MAP Magazine, para.text, Datableed, Zarf, The Literateur and York Literary Review.

Kate Paul is an artist from Manchester, UK, and based in Glasgow. Her work with text, publishing and performance has been exhibited/published with Fieldnotes, Presse Books, Hot Potato Magazine, Phytology and Conditions. In 2023 she was a recipient of a Shady Dealing with Language grant.

As always tickets are free but must be booked in advance and at the request of participants attendees are asked to take a covid test and mask during the event if they are able.
