Come celebrate 5 years of small press sincere corkscrew, and the launch of their new anthology World-dreem 2: another anthology of new(er) writing, on Thursday July 16th at Mount Florida Books.
Nobody told sincere corkscrew to start; nobody told them to stop. Nobody told them anything, tbh. In this way, they remain intact: a small publishing press committed to innovative prose and prose-ish poetics (whatever that means), coming up to a half-decade of life...
"Since we began with an anthology in 2021, it made sense to come full circle with a follow-up", said Editor-in-Chief Ian Macartney, in an exclusive interview. "We're really trying to follow in the footsteps of other great sequels. You know, Metal Gear Solid 2. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. The Boss Baby: Family Business. That sort of thing."
Expect readings from previous sincere corkscrew publications, as well as anthology contributors alike.
